Special Olympics Delaware hosted Ride to the Tide April 26, bringing together motorcyclists to support Special Olympic athletes while doing something they love to do: ride their bikes.
The police-escorted motorcycle ride began at Rommel Harley-Davidson in Smyrna and ended at Nemours Children’s Health in Milford. Despite the overcast conditions and spitting rain, hundreds of riders supported the cause.
In 2025, Ride to the Tide was backed by 720 riders and 273 passengers to raise more than $50,000 for athletes.
After the 30-mile ride, hungry motorcyclists gathered to enjoy some of the food truck vendors in Milford.
