Rockin’ Library set June 13 in Rehoboth
Delaware AeroSpace Education Foundation will present the 2018 Summer Reading Program Rockin' Library at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at Rehoboth Beach Public Library.
Sounds are all around - loud ones, soft ones, harsh ones, pleasant ones. Bring a child to the library and learn about how sounds are made and how they are heard. Play a guessing game with shakers, make the water in a bowl dance and splash, experiment with the sounds that a straw can make and listen to a squawking chicken! Also test Boomwhackers - plastic tubes tuned to specific musical notes. Science and sound go together like rock and music!
