Royal Farms is needed near Angola

May 21, 2024

I am writing to express my support for the proposed Royal Farms location at the corner of Route 24 and Angola Road. This project makes sense for our community, and I urge our local leaders to approve it

The numbers speak for themselves. With more than 10,000 homes being built in the surrounding area in the immediate future and a current $3.8 million investment in intersection improvements, it's clear that this main artery is no longer economically feasible for residential zoning and is primed for further development

A Royal Farms convenience store and gas station would not only provide a valuable service to residents, but would also support the local economy. Royal Farms has a reputation for being a responsible and engaged corporate citizen, committed to supporting local communities and initiatives. Its presence would undoubtedly enhance our neighborhood, quality of life and economic vitality by providing closer access to daily necessities

I urge our local officials to recognize the merits of this business in this location and give it their approval. Let's welcome Royal Farms to this Lewes address and reap the benefits of this much-needed addition to serve the homes nearby that have already been approved
