Salt Air restaurant is officially ready to make its comeback after the Rehoboth Beach commissioners unanimously granted the 50 Wilmington Ave. eatery a permit of compliance.
Salt Air has been closed since September but is set to reopen under the management of Eric and Norman Sugrue, owners of Big Fish Grill and Summer House. The Sugrues elected to keep the Salt Air name and continue the restaurant’s seafood-based, farm-to-table concept.
Since the Sugrues took over, the kitchen has been renovated and upgraded.
There were no public comments for or against the permit.
