Shelly Moore Townsend, avid equestrian

Shelly Moore Townsend, 56, of Paris, Ky., formerly of Millsboro, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019.  She had moved back to Delaware the final few months of her life.

Shelly is preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Ann Moore and Glenn Moore Sr.

She is survived by her brother, Glenn Moore Jr.; nephew Clint Moore and his wife Jeanine; niece Mindi Tunnell and her husband Robert Tunnell III; great-nieces and -nephews Madelyn, Coen, Jack and Grace; sister-in-law Debbie Living and her husband Graham Living; good friends Terry Townsend, Peter van der Kallen and Goldie Wooten; and her devoted caretakers Shae and Benny Parkinson.

She will be missed by her family, friends, and especially her companion dogs, Libby and Henry.

Shelly was an avid animal lover, especially of horses.  She started riding and showing horses at a young age and continued in the equestrian business until her death.  She was the CEO, founder, and inventor of Equine EcoGreen.  

Her Celebration of Life service will be private.
