Sposato Landscape recognized its top performers for the 2015 landscape season with an awards banquet at its Milton location. Employees were recognized for years of service, safety and performance. Sposato managers served a hot meal to their 150 guests.
“It’s a great way to recognize everyone for their efforts and say thanks for all the hard work and customer service,” said founder Tony Sposato. “These guys work real hard throughout the year, and we think it’s important that they are recognized.
“I used to coach sports and we always had an awards banquet at the end of the season to thank everyone. And we had special recognition for those who stood out - who went above and beyond the call of duty. We’re giving out awards like Crew of the Year and Crew Leader of the Year, as well as years of service awards. We want our people to know how important they are to the success of the company.”
The Jack of all Trades Award went to Jeff Andresen. Crew Leader of the year Award went to Onesimo Cruz-Arono. Charlie Hustle Awards went to Jose Lopez-Elizalde and Juan Diego-Flores. Most Improved Awards went to Jason Dunn and Fred Romeo. Rookie of the Year Awards went to Dave Sallac in Irrigation and Octavio Chavez in Landscape. Iron Man Awards went to Juan Sanchez in Irrigation, Esteban Lopez at Peninsula, account manager Brett Hoagland and Dario Castillo, who also received his 10-year service award. Crew of the Year went to the Tuck 53 team including Octavio Chilel-Chavez, Pedro Morales, account manager Matt Martin and Truman Mason Jr. Team Player Awards went to Ryan Wharton in Irrigation and Maximo Saez-Feliciano.
