Spotting the Big Five in Africa did not disappoint
November 20, 2024
In June, Kenny and Cindy Vincent of Dewey Beach took the Cape Gazette on an eight-day safari while visiting national parks in Tanzania, Africa. The highlight of their journey was seeing the Big Five and the abundance of other wildlife. Many years ago, the term 'Big Five' was coined by big-game hunters trying to hunt large, wild African animals on foot, including lions, leopards, rhinoceroses, elephants, and Cape buffalo.
