Stephen Lopuszanski Jr., proud veteran

Stephen Lopuszanski Jr., 76, of Lewes, passed away Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at his home. He was born Aug. 18, 1945, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of the late Stephen Sr. and Grace (Coviello) Lopuszanski.

Mr. Lopuszanski was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the U.S. Army as a security agent during the Vietnam War. After his discharge from the Army, his path would lead him to a career with Western Electric Company for 37 years and more recently for AT&T. Mr. Lopuszanski was also a proud member of American Legion Post 28.

A man of many hobbies and interests, Mr. Lopuszanski was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed woodworking and doing all home projects around the house. A big family guy, he loved hosting events and holidays at his home. Mr. Lopuszanski found the greatest joy in his family. Time spent with those he held dear was what he cherished most. Mr. Lopuszanski was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Loved by many, he will be deeply and genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Mr. Lopuszanski was preceded in death by his brothers: Gregory and Michael Lopuszanski. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Evelyn F. Lopuszanski; his sons: Steven Crisostomo (Jovy) of Stockton, Calif., and Stephen Paul Lopuszanski (Rayanna) of Royersford, Pa.; his grandchildren: Sean, Khody, and Ryan Crisostomo of Stockton, and Natalia Lopuszanski of Drums, Pa.; and his sisters: Justine Stasiak of Philadelphia, Pa., Joanne Warren (Jack) of Rio Grande, N.J., and Theresa Nadachowski of Phoenixville, Pa.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Hwy., Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m.
