Summer Solstice White Party benefits CAMP Rehoboth

July 4, 2025

The Lodge at Truitt Homestead near Rehoboth Beach hosted its 4th annual Summer Solstice White Party June 21, to raise funds for CAMP Rehoboth. The event offered a lively, inclusive social vibe with dancing and mingling under the early summer sky.

This annual affair featured an evening of hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, carnival-style games and entertainment provided by the Pamala Stanley Experience. All proceeds supported CAMP Rehoboth, an LGBTQ+ nonprofit dedicated to promoting rights, wellness, education, anti-discrimination and community building through arts, education, advocacy and other programs.

Kim Leisey, executive director of CAMP Rehoboth, said, “Truitt has been an amazing partner with helping us to raise money. They now have a place in Lewes, and they were just talking to us about a possibility of doing it there in Lewes. It’s very important to us to have these partnerships, because our community is everywhere. It’s just so fun to see all the troubles and the drama of the world melt away.”
