Sussex Democrats host annual jamboree

More than 125 attend annual event

Sussex County Democrats gathered for their annual jamboree Sept. 13 in Killens Pond State Park. The event featured speeches from the party’s top leadership.

Sen. Chris Coons spoke to the crowd, telling them that violence is not the answer, in light of the recent assassination of conservative Charlie Kirk. More than 125 Democrats attended the event that included food and camaraderie.
