Tanger Rehoboth to host pink yoga event Sept. 30

To begin the annual #TangerPinkSTYLE breast cancer awareness campaign, Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach will host a free outdoor yoga session and kickoff ceremony at 10 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, at Tanger Seaside. The first 100 attendees will receive a free yoga mat.  

Every year in October, Tanger Outlets sells pink cards for $10 that are reusable 25 percent off coupons valid at participating Tanger stores all month. Shoppers enjoy 25 percent off all month long, while proceeds from the sale of the pink cards benefit both local and national efforts to fight breast cancer and find a cure. Tanger Rehoboth’s local beneficiary, the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition, is the only organization in the state focused solely on breast health issues as they affect the women and men who live in Delaware. Through DBCC, Tanger donations have directly supported early detection, outreach, education and peer mentor support in Delaware and surrounding communities in Maryland.

Attendees can tour the women's mobile health screening van, honor survivors, enjoy healthy refreshments and buy Tanger pink cards. Everyone can enter to win door prizes, including the grand prize gift basket filled with great merchandise from Tanger Outlet stores.

Our goal is to set a tone of solidarity as we start off our month-long fundraising campaign.
