Tidewater welcomes new physical therapist to Milton location
Tidewater Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Associates PA announced Phillip Tyre, PT, DPT, ATC, as the new clinical director and doctor of physical therapy at its Milton location.
Tyre holds a certification in instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization through Graston Technique LLC, and is athletic training certified. He holds special interest in the treatment of multiple conditions including sports orthopedic therapy, overhead and running biomechanics, post-surgical rehabilitation, pre- and post-operative joint replacement treatment, balance/neurological rehab, vestibular therapy, TMJ, pediatric rehabilitation, manual therapy, work-related injuries and auto accident rehabilitation.

Tyre received his bachelor of science in athletic training from Salisbury University in 2002. In 2006, he received his doctor of physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. Tyre is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Trainers Association, Maryland Athletic Trainers Association and National Athletic Trainers Association. He stays active in the athletic community teaching annual courses on injury prevention to high school coaching staffs on Delmarva.
