Trauma Specialists of Delaware cuts ribbon in Milton
Trauma Specialists of Delaware cut the ribbon on its second office in Sussex County April 4 with the opening of a new location in Milton.
Trauma Specialists offers a number of different therapies to help patients deal with trauma, including art therapy, child therapy and EMDR, which stands for eye movement, desensitization and reprocessing, and is designed to alleviate post-traumatic stress. The office includes four treatment rooms and an outdoor space for treating patients.
Trauma Specialists of Delaware also has an office in Lewes, additional offices in Hanover, Pa., and four offices in Maryland.
Cutting the ribbon is owner Rachel Harrison, flanked by staff, patients, Milton Chamber of Commerce members and town dignitaries.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach.
