Unity of Rehoboth Beach collects stuffed animals for community

Unity of Rehoboth collected these stuffed animals and toys during Advent to be distributed by Troop 7 to the community. SOURCE SUBMITTED
Unity of Rehoboth Beach got into the Christmas spirit by collecting stuffed animals through the four weeks of Advent. Congregants brought their selected stuffed animal and held it throughout the Celebration Service each week, filling it with love and joy.
The toys were then donated to Troop 7 of the Delaware State Police. Troop 7 shares the toys with members of the community as needed.
This is the second year the congregation at Unity has collected stuffed animals. Last year they were donated to the Delaware Hospice Center's Alzheimer's unit.
