Ursula Wampler, kind, generous woman

July 31, 2025

Ursula Wampler, known for her warmth and unwavering kindness, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes after a brief illness. She was born Feb. 12, 1964, in Dover, to the late Thomas and Inge Wampler.

With a heart as expansive as the ocean she adored, Ursula is remembered with profound love by her sister, Ricci Wampler, and Skipp Webb. She will be deeply missed by the many friends whose lives she touched with her kindness.

Ursula worked for many years at Pacific Wine and Spirits, where she was a valued and reliable employee. She took pride in her work and always brought a friendly and supportive presence to the workplace.

Ursula's abiding love for animals was evident to all who knew her. She could often be found observing the playful antics of squirrels or the graceful dance of birds in flight. These simple joys were a source of endless fascination and contentment for Ursula. Ursula enjoyed reading and often found comfort and escape in books.

Ursula found peace and reflection by the beach, where she enjoyed the calm of the coastline and the sound of the waves.

Above all, Ursula’s kindness and generosity extended even beyond her passing as a gift of life donor. Her selfless decision has granted others the opportunity for renewed health and stands as a testament to her caring nature. She lived by example, demonstrating that one person's loving choice can indeed ripple outwards, touching countless lives.

Those who knew Ursula remember her kindness and warmth. Her generosity was a defining part of who she was. As we say goodbye, we hold close the love and care she shared with others.
