Virtual fair offered to recruit diverse educators March 11

The Delaware Department of Education will hold a virtual recruitment fair March 11 for aspiring educators of color and those who are linguistically diverse.

The fair will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. and provide information on certification requirements, job openings and community involvement opportunities for diverse educators interested in working in Delaware schools. This includes current students as well as those interested in changing careers to work in Delaware schools.

The fair also will offer sessions targeted at stakeholders such as students, families and caregivers, professionals, colleges and universities, and community and business stakeholders who are directly involved in the development, planning, and implementation of the recruitment and retention of diverse educators in Delaware.
