Wellness programs at CAMP Rehoboth continue March 21

CAMP Rehoboth Community Center offers a variety of free wellness programs for support and motivation. All are open to the community.

A smoking cessation class will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21, offering free guidance on how to quit smoking. This program is for those who have fears about quitting smoking and those who may associate their smoking with coffee or a drink. The class will discuss holistic therapies, emotional freedom and breathing techniques. A second cessation class will be held Saturday, May 8.

Move Into 2020 will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 25. The class will discuss the health benefits of an active lifestyle, the many ways to bring movement into daily lives and how to create a successful plan of action that will work each individual’s needs. 

Creating a Long-Lasting Health Plan will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 13. Participants will discuss what a healthy life looks like including diet, sleep, movement, mind-set and more. The concept of bio-individuality will be used as participants examine their own lives to identify where they could make changes to better support their health needs. Attendees will set individual goals, identify obstacles and create a plan that will stick.
