William M. DeCorrevont, veteran, loved his family
William M. DeCorrevont, known for his warmth, strength, and deep love for family, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Rehoboth Beach. Born Christmas Day Dec. 25, 1949, in Doylestown, Pa., Bill lived a full and meaningful life centered around service, family, and joy.
He graduated from Central Bucks High School and attended Bucks County Community College, excelling in both academics and athletics. Bill served proudly in the Vietnam War aboard the USS Intrepid and later built a successful career as regional sales manager for A.O. Smith.
More than any professional success, Bill found his greatest joy in his marriage to his beloved wife of 35 years, Deborah (Haas), and in being a devoted father to Lanae Herman (Todd). He was a proud and loving grandfather to Cole and Jake Herman. Bill is also survived by his sister, Theresa Mey (Karl); brother, Michael DeCorrevont (Shannon); niece, Cameron; and nephew, Kyle. In addition, he will be greatly missed by many close friends, whom he considered family.
He was predeceased by his parents, William P. and Jacqueline DeCorrevont, who instilled in him strong values and kindness. Bill had a passion for travel, photography, home projects, and his rescue dogs. He found peace in gardening, dinners with friends and family, and the beach, which became his final resting place.
Even while facing serious illness, Bill remained full of grace, humor, and love. His legacy lives on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
A private burial will take place at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
