Worcester Prep student supports Brandywine Valley SPCA

November 13, 2022

Worcester Prep seventh-grader Chase Thompson of Rehoboth Beach took the reins as head of school Oct. 14. His parents purchased the Head of School for a Day option during the annual WPS Gala fundraiser auction in April.

As head of school, Chase asked his fellow students for donations to Brandywine Valley SPCA. During the day, he attended leadership meetings, visited classrooms, and conducted security and athletic field checks. His classmates were treated to donuts for breakfast, and pizza and ice cream for lunch, while faculty and staff also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. Students also enjoyed the perk of additional recess time throughout the day.
