Wreaths Across America thankful for Mission BBQ contributions
Mission BBQ has donated $352,930 to the national nonprofit Wreaths Across America.
With the mission to remember, honor and teach, National Wreaths Across America Day sees organizations across the country conduct wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery and more than 2,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
This contribution was made possible thanks to the support of Mission BBQ customers and their purchases of special American Heroes Cups. The donation will sponsor 20,761 veterans’ wreaths to remember fallen U.S. service members laid to rest at 142 participating locations.
Recently, Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s Wreaths Across America coordinators presented a certificate of appreciation to JP Blandin and Tom Stachowski of the Mission BBQ Rehoboth Beach location for their support.
Rehoboth Beach Main Street’s WAA program received 161 wreaths from Mission BBQ, and the Rehoboth restaurant donated more than 60 barbecue sliders for the luncheon following the wreath-laying in December.
