Cami Smith tied the game early in the second half with her goal at 18:35 on play after a penalty corner. The play of the game was a defensive save by Kaleigh Cordrey with no time remaining on the clock while the Corals were trying to score in a penalty corner situation. The second game of the evening was a 3-0 win by the Bengals over the Pumas. Macy Steinwedel had the goal winner in the opening half before Lacy Bayley and LeeLee Wilson put in some insurance goals late in the second half. The Artics and the Bengals will play the spoiler role in the final regular season games on Monday, July 16th when the Corals face the Artics ( a 2-1 win by the Corals in their first game of the season), and the Bengals will play the Baffins (a 3-3 result the first time around). The Pumas must get the win over the Seahawks to have a chance at the playoff spot (4-2 win by the Seahawks the first time they played).
