Give Well, Live Well

In gratitude for another amazing year of learning and teaching, reading and writing about the extraordinary benefits of Plant-Based Living, I want to recognize 3 of the many sources of information and support that I rely on daily.  They provide a wealth of free evidence-based medical and nutritional information to anyone who requests it, infographics to all, and a great variety of plans, programs and recipes for helping people, animals and the environment on the path to restored health.

NutritionFacts.org is where I always know I can find accurate nutritional and medical information in the form of brief daily searchable videos. Founded and “powered” by Michael Greger, M.D., this site has become my go-to source for the latest in nutrition related research. Donations are gratefully received at https://nutritionfacts.org/

Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine is a nationwide organization of physicians, scientists, educators, and laypersons that promotes preventive medicine, especially good nutrition, and addresses controversies in modern medicine, including ethical and scientific issues in education and research. Founder and President, Neal Barnard, M. D., leads, speaks, writes, educates and even entertains, all in the service of human and animal health and wellbeing. I turn to PCRM for nutrition-in-the-news, healthy eating programs and clarity on ethical issues related to animals in research. Donations are gratefully received at http://www.pcrm.org/

PlantPure Communities builds healthier, and more sustainable communities through research, policy, and program activities and works with local nonprofits, businesses, governments, hospitals and other health-related organizations and faith-based groups. PPC offers programs, resources, tools, and knowledge to empower community leaders, activists, and advocates, in order to help educate people about evidence-based nutrition that shows that optimal health may be achieved through a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diet. Nelson Campbell, the son of Dr. T. Colin Campbell, author of THE CHINA STUDY, is the founder of PlantPure Communities and the director of the film PlantPure Nation.

I turn to PLANTPURE COMMUNITIES for inspiration and ideas for involving whole communities in taking charge of personal and community health. Donations are gratefully received at http://plantpurecommunities.org/donations/

These 3 sources have contributed so much to my understanding of how and why to take charge of our own health. My hope is that readers will benefit as well. This information is available free of charge to anyone upon request. I invite all to search and learn. Then—Give well, live well!
