This Award is given to a current member of the Cape Henlopen HS Field Hockey team in recognition of their efforts for their hockey program. In additions to her efforts for Cape, Sommer has been a member of Delaware Shore Field Hockey since 2011 beginning with skills training, indoor and summer league play and continued to participation in indoor travel with different age groups. She was a member of a U14 NIT championship team, and in many instances played above her age group with showcase teams.
