Poultry industry seeks scholarship applications by April 1
Delmarva Poultry Industry Inc. is seeking applications for its 2016 College Scholarship Program by 4:30 p.m., Friday, April 1.
Undergraduate applicants must be residents of the Delmarva Peninsula and students in good standing at any accredited, degree-granting institution in the United States. The program is also open to high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited, degree-granting institution.
Individuals must have an academic major in a subject area relevant to any segment of Delmarva’s poultry industry and be planning a career in this industry. An official transcript must accompany each application.
Graduate student applicants must meet the above criteria, with the exception of Delmarva residency, and the individual must be engaged in research that directly benefits Delmarva’s poultry industry.
