Elinor Fenton Marshall, loving matriarch

Elinor Fenton Marshall, 80, of Upperco, Md., passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, at her vacation home in Bethany Beach. She was born in Baltimore, Md., Friday, Aug. 9, 1935, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Hatfield) Fenton.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her son, Jervis Marshall Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Marshall and her fiancé Dave Finneran of Upperco; her sons: Edward Marshall of Upperco and Ragan Marshall and his wife Frances, of Wilmington; her grandchildren: Megan Cavey and her husband Jason of Hampstead, Md., Lauren O'Hara and her husband Adam of Manchester, England, Amanda Stem and her husband Jonathan of Woodine, Md., Charlotte Marshall, of Austin, Texas, Isaac Jones and his wife Danielle, of Manhattan, Kan., Hailey Marshall of Raleigh, N.C., Jervis Marshall III, of Coatsville, Pa., Ragan Marshall Jr., of Wilmington, Cynthia Marshall of Coatsville, Pa. and Frank Marshall of Wilmington; her great-grandchildren: Madison Cavey of Hampstead, Jacob Cavey of Hampstead, Isaac Jones III, of Manhattan and Avery Stem, of Woodbine; and his care giver and friend, Marva Layne of Baltimore, Md.
