Garden Shack Farmers Market open every Thursday through November

Garden Shack Farm will host their weekly farmers market every Thursday through November from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., rain or shine, at 19884 Beaver Dam Road, Lewes. Beebe Healthcare will be at the market this Thursday, May 12, offering blood pressure checks and glucose and cholesterol screenings.

As usual, over 25 vendors will be on site offering a wide variety of fresh produce (including locally grown asparagus, strawberries, greens, and more!), baked goods, local honey, eggs, meats, cheeses, milk, coffee, juice, seafood, herbs, spices, dips, unique locally made crafts, as well as the annual and perennial flowers, hanging baskets, vegetable and herb plants that are available daily in Garden Shack Farm’s greenhouse. (It’s planting time!)

Visitors can choose from two food trucks to enjoy their dinner at a picnic table and take some things home for the weekend. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome on the farm and there is plenty of parking in marked areas.
