Visitors get up close to local farms, gardens

Hundreds turned out June 11 for the first Cape Farm and Garden Tour. Among the stops was the 5-acre Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor near Coolspring owned by Marie Mayor and Sharon Harris. Other stops included Black Hog Farmstead in Lewes owned by Helen Waite and John Feliciana, and Mill Pond Garden near Lewes created by Michael Zajic. RON MACARTHUR PHOTO
