Community Thanksgiving day dinner set Epworth UMC Nov. 24

Everyone is welcome to enjoy a Thanksgiving day dinner at Epworth United Methodist Church from noon to 3 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 24. The meal is free and carry-out is available. To leave a name and number of people in the party who will be coming, call 302-227-7743, Ext. 117.

Volunteers from The Kitchen at Epworth started this community tradition nine years ago to provide Thanksgiving dinner to everyone who would like to gather together to enjoy a holiday meal. Last year 550 dinners were served.

Sweatshirts, hats, gloves and socks will be available for those in need. To donate a pie not requiring refrigeration, please do so before 6 p.m. Wednesday or anytime Thanksgiving Day.
