Three local players invited to National Lacrosse Academy

Maren Buckaloo, Sloane Buckaloo and Payton Nowakowski, upcoming eighth-graders at Beacon Middle School, have been named 2017 National Lacrosse All-Stars and have been selected to attend the National Lacrosse Academy and National Lacrosse Classic to be held July 18-21 at the River City Sportsplex in Richmond, Va.

All three play for the Eastern Shore Lacrosse Club and Atlantic Lacrosse.

The National Lacrosse Academy brings the top youth lacrosse players in the United States and Canada to one venue, where regional teams coached by NCAA lacrosse coaches compete to become the 2017 National Champion. 

The National Lacrosse Academy is the first-of-its-kind lacrosse experience created to provide a curriculum focused on how a young lacrosse athlete should develop in order to compete at top high school and collegiate lacrosse programs.
