
Rehoboth Beach Running Co.team members Mary Beth Evans and Bobby Hutton are having a blast but didn’t make it to the finals.

Jessica August lost her oar before the boat left the dock, leaving Phil Huber to row the entire heat. The Spray Farts didn’t make it to the third round.
Ten teams competed in the 25th Annual Canoe Races July 25, at Rusty Rudder Lighthouse Cove in Dewey Beach. Local restaurants, businesses and teams of friends loaded into canoes for eight heats to get to the winner of the contest. Music was provided by DJ Hector; the crowd was kept lively by MC Steve Capik. First place went to Nalu’s team I Shart You Shart; Dewey Lifeguards and Shack Girls team Natives placed second; Starboard team We Can’t Say the Name came in third.
