Puzzles jigsaw features Lightship Overfalls

Locally owned Puzzles and the Overfalls Foundation commissioned Lewes photographer Michele Buckler to provide a photograph of the Lightship Overfalls for an exclusive jigsaw. The photo depicts the ship’s recent return to Lewes after a five-month refurbishment at the Dorchester Shipyard in New Jersey. The 550-piece jigsaw puzzle commemorates the 80th anniversary of the lightship, which is one of only seven still open to the public. The ship is berthed on the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal adjacent to Lewes Canalfront Park.

The puzzle is available for purchase from both Puzzles and the Overfalls Foundation Gift Shop, located next to the Lightship. This image of the Lightship Overfalls, which is suitable for framing, joins an extensive collection of Heritage puzzles available at Puzzles that celebrate Lewes and the maritime history, flora, fauna, beach life and lighthouses to be found in the Cape Region. A donation by Puzzles from a puzzle sale supports the work of the Overfalls Foundation.

Buckler donated her photograph for use on the puzzle, as well as her puzzle royalty to the foundation, and also has postcards, greeting cards and prints available of the image in her store, Sand N Stones, on Front Street.
