On-Demand Delivery Service drives business

Richard Harpel and Robb Leech first met in the service industry at the Delaware beaches about six years ago and first discussed the idea of offering a delivery service in Dewey Beach. The two lost touch until about a year ago when they decided that it was time to make their vision a reality and officially launched the “U Got Ride” Application for both Android and Apple Devices.

The delivery service is run directly through the application on a phone, allowing people to order a variety of options that will be delivered directly to a home, business or anywhere on the Eastern Shore.

When asked about the motivation for this style of delivery service, it was clear that the use of growing technology can be used to help and assist others to make their experiences as enjoyable and as smoothly as possible.

“We saw a lack of options for on demand delivery in the categories of food, flowers and groceries, so we created the On Demand App ‘U Got Ride.’ This application has unlimited on demand options in all three categories (including food, flowers and groceries) but is not limited to those categories either,” said Co-Owner Robb Leech as both hope to add additional options to their repertoire making them stand out from the competition and be more helpful to the community.

Not only will the service benefit consumers and residents but businesses as well.

“I think our our on demand app based delivery service will be a great convenience for those who need to use it and those who want more on demand food delivery for the things they need and want. This On Demand Food and Moving App will be a great addition to all of the business in the area bringing more revenue to each establishment through on demand delivery services with no cost to the businesses themselves,” said Co-owner Richard Harpel.

The application will be available soon in designated App Store and is easy as following these steps:

• Request a delivery driver on ‘U Got Ride’ Ap

• Enter the pick up location (where you are ordering or receiving your goods) then enter the drop-off location (where you would like these goods to be delivered

• Order and pay at a favorite restaurant or business

• Track a delivery driver as they make their way to a drop off location
