Milton Chamber of Commerce has donated $1,000 to the Milton Theatre Renaissance Project, and held a social to celebrate
The Sept. 6 social allowed for chamber members to hear the latest news on the project, a $2.5 million campaign to purchase and renovate the nearly 100-year-old building. Director Fred Munzert said two months in, the campaign has raised $20,000. The plan is to submit grant applications to foundations in the fall, he said.
Chamber executive director Terri Fox and President Mike Clark encouraged members to match the chamber’s donation.
