Hudson Jones Jaywork & Fisher names partner, new attorney

February 10, 2019

The law firm of Hudson Jones Jaywork & Fisher announced its newest partner, D. Barrett Edwards, Esq.

Edwards has been an associate attorney with the firm since 2009 and has established a successful practice, serving as town solicitor for several Delaware municipalities. Edwards is a graduate of Brigham Young University. He received a master of public administration degree from the University of Delaware, and graduated cum laude from the Drexel University Kline School of Law.

Edwards resides in Dover with his wife and their four children, where they are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The firm also announced the addition of Daniel L. Huestis as its newest associate attorney.

Huestis has a passion for litigation in its many forms, including family law, civil litigation involving contracts and landlord/tenant relations, and criminal defense, to name a few. He understands how overwhelming situations such as divorces, contract disputes and car accidents can be, even before a lawsuit is filed. He works diligently to protect his clients’ interests through every stage of an issue.

Huestis received his law degree from Brigham Young University Law School in April 2018. While working on his law degree, Huestis worked at law firms representing clients in family law, civil litigation, criminal defense, personal injury and patent infringement. Huestis also looks to expand on his experience and practice in real estate, estate planning and litigation and bankruptcy.
