CHEER and La Red cut ribbon at Long Neck center
CHEER and La Red Health Services hosted a ribbon cutting May 10 at CHEER Pelican Cove Activity Center to celebrate the collaboration between the two organizations as they continue to work toward improving access to high-quality adult and senior healthcare services throughout Sussex County.
La Red Health Center now offers health services to the general public age 18 and older out of both the CHEER Ocean View location and the Pelican Cove Activity Center in Millsboro. Health services offered include health screenings and acute illness treatment.
Sen. Tom Carper; Rep. Ruth Briggs King, R-Georgetown; Rep. Richard Collins, R-Millsboro; Brian S. Olson, La Red Health Center CEO; and Ken Bock, CHEER CEO, were all present to speak at the ribbon cutting.
