Leroy ‘Lee’ Murray, retired banker
Leroy “Lee” Murray, 72, of Millsboro passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, surrounded by his loved ones.
Lee was born in Salisbury, Md., Feb. 1, 1947, to the late Leroy Murray and Mary Louise (Holton/Murray) Flester. He is a retired banker.
He is survived by his wife Judith (Hudson) Murray; his mother-in-law, Mary Lee Hudson and her family; as well as his former classmates of John M. Clayton class of 1965.
A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. and service at noon, Tuesday, June 11, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher St., Frankford. Interment will follow at Carey’s Cemetery, Frankford.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Lee’s name to Brandywine Valley SPCA, 22918 Dupont Blvd., Georgetown, DE 19947; Millsboro Public Library, PO Box 458, Millsboro, DE 19966; or Worcester County Humane Society, PO Box 98, Berlin, MD 21811.
