Beebe honors C.J. Marshall with L.O.V.E. Letter Award
Beebe Healthcare recognized C.J. Marshall as the January Living Our Values Every Day Letter Award recipient.
Marshall, emergency department clinical team leader and member of the rapid response and vascular access teams, was recognized for his professionalism and compassion when assisting the orthopaedics unit during a heart code.
“Thankfully, you were at our emergency call on night shift. I wanted to thank you for being so kind and uplifting to the entire ortho staff after the event was over,” said Carey Murray, a charge nurse on the orthopaedics unit, who wrote his L.O.V.E. Letter nomination. “You spoke such kind words to them, assuring each and every team member of their roles in the code and how well they did. Hearing those words of encouragement from someone in your role really hits home and helped the staff process all that happened.”
Awardees are announced in a surprise ceremony in which the committee visits the winner in his or her department and presents the award. Employees selected for the award receive a parking space in the parking garage for one month; a $100 gift card; 100 points toward Beebe L.O.V.E. Notes merchandise; a letter of congratulations and personal visit from members of the executive team; their photo added to the L.O.V.E. Letter wall plaque; a letter to the team member's director; and department recognition.
