Two teams of walkers based at the Villages of Five Points in Lewes participated Sept. 26 in a Walk to End Alzheimer’s around the community’s 2-mile trail. The A Team, in memory of Jerry Panico, was coordinated by Dina Viscount, who said with the help of her late father, John Panico, she has raised $100,000 since 2010. Team Mamamia’s Smile, in memory of Mary Fusca, is coordinated by Chris Shelton. “Mother was always vibrant and happy. She always had a smile. This terrible, terrible disease devastated the entire family,” Shelton said. Her mother passed away in 2015.
