Milton reopens park playground

March 26, 2021

After it was closed for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Milton quietly reopened the playground at Milton Memorial Park March 19.

Town Manager Kristy Rogers said, “The town was finally in a position to meet the state’s COVID regulations and felt it was time to open the amenity for public enjoyment.”

Since the pandemic began in earnest last March, the playground has been cordoned off with yellow tape.

Rogers said the town encourages families to be safe when using the playground and to continue complying with the state’s COVID regulations.
