Solutions IPEM adds two civil engineering team members

June 25, 2021

Solutions IPEM has expanded its civil engineering department with the addition of two new team members at its Georgetown headquarters.

The current wave of projects in the Delmarva region has created the opportunity and need to expand its workforce. Bringing on new college graduates to join a team of experienced professionals was a natural fit as Solutions IPEM strives to stay on top of the newest methods and technology to create innovative, sustainable and buildable designs to meet each client’s vision and needs.

Adam Weissend is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in civil engineering. Weissend joins the firm as an engineering designer. He has had a passion for design and building since he was younger and is looking forward to seeing the positive impacts of projects he works on in area communities.

Edwin Tucci is a recent graduate of Widener University with a civil engineering degree. The National Honor Society scholar also joins the firm as an engineering designer. Tucci said he remembers being fascinated with watching the construction of buildings, houses, bridges and street paving projects, which ultimately led him to choose civil engineering as a career path.

Solutions IPEM is a full-service architectural, land planning, civil engineering and surveying firm with offices in Georgetown and Salisbury, Md.
