Clothing Our Kids benefit auction kicks off Sept. 16

August 24, 2021

As Sussex County kids head back to school, Clothing Our Kids has announced an online auction to dress them for success. It’s the very first COK online auction, with the goal of helping improve the learning experience of local at-risk children. Over 20 percent of Sussex County children live below the poverty level, and COK’s goal is to assist them with an equal start in their early education and help them become successful, well-dressed, confident students.

COK has benefited from the generosity of individuals and companies that donated terrific items for the auction, ranging from one-of-a-kind, exquisite jewelry to a connoisseur’s collection of the finest wines. Over 75 packages will be available for bidding online starting at noon, Thursday, Sept. 16, with the deadline for final bids at noon, Tuesday, Sept. 28, the day after the COK 2021 Golf Outing.

With over 20 years of experience in the fundraising software industry providing innovative and secure solutions, partner FrontStream’s mission is focused on helping nonprofits raise funds to do better. Clothing Our Kids is a 501(c)(3) organization solely dependent on the time and talents of 150 volunteers. There is no paid staff. And most importantly, over 90 percent of all proceeds go directly to clothing Sussex County schoolchildren in need. COK’s mission is offering an opportunity for every child to achieve excellence.
