Sussex County native Tonika L. Ward, MSM-HCA, LPN, CDP, provides professional consulting services for healthcare organizations.

Her business, TWard Consulting LLC, is licensed and insured, and also accredited by the Delaware Better Business Bureau.

As principal of TWard Consulting LLC, Ward said she takes pride in maintaining long-lasting, trusting, professional partnerships. These practices may help ensure quality patient-provider engagement, high levels of patient satisfaction and staff retention. A 1995 Cape Henlopen High School graduate, Ward earned her master of science degree in healthcare management, and a bachelor of science degree in behavioral science from Wilmington University. She also holds an associate degree in human services technology, as well as her licensed practical nursing diploma from Delaware Technical Community College.

In October, Ward successfully completed a certification program on Leading in a Remote Environment offered by Harvard University Business School.

Ward also holds professional certifications in medical billing, coding, Lean Six Sigma green belt, applications in MS Excel, project management, COVID-19 contact tracing training through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, as well as first aid and CPR.
