Possum Point Players to open dinner theater comedy "Nana’s Naughty Knickers" March 23
Tickets are now on sale for the Possum Point Players’ annual dinner theater comedy which opens Friday, March 23, and runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for six performances, ending April 1. Doors open for dinner at 6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at noon on Sundays. The dinner theater is at Possum Hall in Georgetown.
"Nana’s Naughty Knickers" is a comic farce written by Katherine DiSavino and directed by Jim Hartzell of Georgetown. Bridget (played by Danielle Hillanbrand of Lewes) and her grandmother (played by Nita Gary, also of Lewes) are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget saw as a unique opportunity to stay with her Nana in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she'll never forget. What Bridget doesn’t know is that her sweet Grandma is running an illegal boutique and selling hand-made lingerie to every senior citizen in the five-borough area! The wackiness ensues, with the help of the additional members of the ensemble cast, which includes Sharon George of Bridgeville, Louise Hartzell of Georgetown, Ryan Barwick of Lewes, Lenne Sirasky of Ocean View and Carreen Kouts of Seaford.
Dinner theater tickets are $45 ($20 for show only), and theatergoers are encouraged to check out possumpointplayers.org to buy tickets online and find more details about the menu and show. Tickets may also be reserved by calling the PPP Ticketline at 302-856-4560.
"Nana’s Naughty Knickers" is being produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc.
