Mary Jane Petraroi, retired secretary
Mary Jane Petraroi, 73, of Millsboro, formerly of Rahway, N.J., passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
Mary Jane was born in Newark, N.J., daughter of the late Elroy and Mary (Gannon) Macgregor. She was a retired secretary for Graver Chemical Company in New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Gouger.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John; two sons, John Petraroi III and Daniel Petraroi; a daughter, Tracy Fairman and her husband Raymond; a sister, Carol Applebaugh; and two grandchildren, Tyler John and Devin Michael Fairman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1 p.m., Monday, April 16, at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church in Oak Orchard. A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, April 15, at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. Interment will be private.
