Xi Sigma Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi begins new service year
The Xi Sigma Chapter of the International Sorority of Beta Sigma Phi kicked off the 2023-2024 service year Aug. 27, with a Beginning Day Luncheon at the Clubhouse at Baywoods Greens, with members and guests in attendance.
Chapter members are dedicated to the fundamentals of Beta Sigma Phi: Friendship, education and service to their community. Officers who will guide the chapter for the coming year include Clare Johnson, president; Ann Wotring, vice president; Carolyn Joyce, secretary; Gretta Wolter, corresponding secretary; and Barbara Catts, treasurer.
Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding of Milton has been selected as the beneficiary of this years’ service donation. Each year the group chooses a charity to benefit from its ways and means project and other donations. The Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding s a local 501c3 dedicated to improving the physical and emotional well being of children and adults living with disabilities through equine assisted therapy in a supportive environment for riders and families.
