I agree with Fred Harpster about the littering problem in Delaware, especially Sussex County. I noticed the recycling trucks are sometimes not covered and the trash just flies out onto roadways. There is also so much construction that the workers just toss trash from fast-food places that they stop at for breakfast and lunch out of their vehicles. As for tourists and residents doing the same thing, it's sad. I noticed that Maryland is much cleaner than Delaware. I guess they have more of a respect for their state. Litter laws are not enforced because the police are not seeing it when it happens. Roadway cleanup crews are minimal. Why aren’t minimum-custody inmates more frequently used to clean up? Relocating is on my mind because of the trash! It could be beautiful if people would show some respect.
