I have been reading about all the money being allocated to beach refurbishment in the past few weeks and I have some questions. Did I miss something?
Why is Cape Henlopen State Park never named as a beach destined for replenishment?
This is the most popular state park in Sussex County, and it is also always the most crowded.
The water line gets closer and closer to the boardwalk with each passing year. However, there never seem to be any dollars allocated to elongate this beach. Why?
Doing so would reduce the necessity for families to basically sit on top of one another while trying to enjoy a day at the beach.
Surely it would be worthwhile to designate funds for our beloved Cape Henlopen State Park beach.
