What’s the deal with poor internet in Lewes?

August 9, 2024

I am a resident of Lewes. We built a home in a subdivision of custom-built homes and we have tried three different internet service providers. Each service was fine during the honeymoon phase of their service, but then after a month or so we experienced constant buffering and interruptions

It became comical when we would call each service provider and they would give us the exact same spiel every time, "Oh, the tower is down at the moment." I am not tech savvy and this is my plea to anyone who is, is this a line of BS? Is it the infrastructure of my subdivision or Lewes? In speaking to people who bought homes in subdivisions where the lots were owned by builders, strangely, they seem to have reliable internet service. Why is that

This is unbelievable to me that in 2024 we cannot get reliable internet service. Having fast and reliable internet is not a luxury; it is a must in order to be productive in our everyday lives

I will reach out to elected officials for help. Thank you
