The election is over and Democrats in the 14th District have made their choice. While the results are far from what we had hoped, I congratulate the winner.
At this time, I’d like to thank my family, friends and supporters for supporting me just as they always have on the best of days and the toughest of days. This campaign is one that I am proud to have run, and I’m grateful to those who saw our campaign as one that reflected their values and beliefs.
We are blessed to live here in the Cape Region, and I am humbled to have run a positive, issues-oriented race, focused on making this place we call home better for us all. I will continue to fight for you, for us and Delaware on many fronts and hope to cross paths soon!
