Beach Bowl raises money for Lewes Fire Department

September 23, 2024

Teams from around the Cape Region took to the lanes at Lefty’s Alley & Eats in Lewes Sept. 12, to take part in Beach Bowl, a fundraiser benefiting the Lewes Fire Department.

A collaborative project between the fire department and the Lewes Lions Club, the event helped raise money for the department to purchase a new ladder truck. Teams were encouraged to dress in their best bowling shirt or funny costume, and prizes were given out for best fundraiser, best costume and best team name. A 50/50 raffle and silent auction were also held.
